Polyflor partner with Life IT for their new Infrastructure

Polyflor partner with Life IT for their new IT Infrastructure

Life IT has been awarded the contract to provide the IT infrastructure for Polyflor’s upgraded ERP solution. A prerequisite for the upgrade was a new IBM iSeries together with a number of virtualised xSeries servers running SQL server.
Polyflor is a major manufacturer of commercial floor coverings, operating successfully throughout the world and when they required new IT infrastructure they turned to their existing IT support partner, Life IT.
The requirement is to specify, procure and configure a complex IT environment encompassing both Microsoft and IBM hardware and software. This will include all configuration services including, Windows, Microsoft SQL server, Virtualisation and Storage.
